The Digital eGift Card is an electronic card that can be used on ESA Space Shop to buy products and goods. Below are the answers to FAQ’s (frequently asked questions) concerning eGift Card s and the Terms & Conditions of use. The digital eGift Card is an electronic card/discount sent via email to the chosen beneficiary. An invoice of the order is sent to the purchaser. It is a prepaid payment card – available for different amounts (10€, 50€, 100€ etc.) – that can be used on this website. Every eGift Card is composed of a unique code, that is not consequential is valid 12 months from its activation (starting on the delivery date).

How can I purchase an ESA Space Shop eGift Card ?

On the purchase page you can:

- Choose your favourite design, you will find different versions depending on the period of the year or type of gift.

- Choose the amount: For example: 20€, 50€, 100€, etc.

- Insert a message for the recipient, that will appear on the eGift Card .

- Choose a delivery date

- Get a preview In order to proceed with the purchase of the eGift Card , you will be asked to accept the terms and conditions (that you will find in the following part) and click “Continue”.

You will then be able to choose your preferred payment method.

How do I receive the Esa Space Shop eGift Card ?

After the payment, you (the purchaser) will receive the order summary, whereas the recipient will receive the eGift Card via email on the chosen delivery date

Does the eGift Card expire?

The eGift Card expires 12 months after its activation.

We will not be liable to you or any other third party by reason of our withdrawing any product from the website, whether it has been sold or not, removing or editing any materials or contents on the website or for refusing to process or accept an order after we have sent you the Order Confirmation.

SALES TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Premise

The term “eGift Card ” refers to the digital eGift Card of ESA Space Shop.

2. Use

The eGift Card of ESA Space Shop can be used on the website to buy anything available on the website, even items that are discounted. If the total of the purchase is superior to the value of the eGift Card , the difference should be paid using another payment method. If the total cost of the purchase is less than the value of the eGift Card , the total of the purchase order will be subtracted from the final payment of the eGift Card .

You can send emails only to remind you of the expiration date. All other information is can be found in your customer profile, if you have one. If you don’t have a profile, you can go to the check-out area and enter the eGift Card code and click "check eGift Card " to see the current balance. Otherwise you can refer to most recent email sent from the ESA Space Shop.

3. Limitations

The digital eGift Card s and the remaining balance of the eGift Card are valid 12 months from the date of emission of the eGift Card that correspond to the purchase date of the eGift Card . The eGift Card , even if partially used, cannot be recharged, resent or converted into money

4. Responsibility limit

ESA Space Shop excludes every guarantee, expressed or implicit to the eGift Card , including, by way of example, any guarantee (expressed or implicit) of marketability or eligibility for a particular goal/product. If a eGift Card is not functioning, we will be responsible for its replacement. If the card is stolen and used, we cannot replace the item. If it is not used, we can replace the card and associate it with a new email.

5. Purchase

The eGift Card can be purchased at the page eGift Card following these 3 steps:

Step. 1: Go to the special page eGift Card page of Esa Space Shop:

- Choose an image.

- Choose the amount. For example: 20€, 50€, 100€, etc.

- Insert a message for the recipient that will appear on the eGift Card .

- Click on “Continue”

Step. 2: Finalise the purchase by validating the desired payment method (credit card or PayPal) and complete the other required information.

Step. 3: Receive via mail the summary of purchase and the recipient will receive the eGift Card containing the eGift Card s’ unique code. If it is a present, you can address the mail to you, and print the page to create a physical card.

6. Return

If you wish to return paid items using only an ESA Space shop eGift Card , the refund will be given back to you as credit on the eGift Card . If you have used various payment methods for the same purchase, the refund will be made on the eGift Card . For example, if you used the eGift Card and a Credit Card for a single purchase, the amount will be credited to the eGift Card . If the amount exceeds the eGift Card , the excessive amount will be refunded to the Credit Card used at the time of purchase.

7. Withdrawal

According to the art. 52 of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code) the Customer has a period of 14 days from the date of delivery of the PHYSICAL or DIGITAL product to withdraw from the contract without having to provide any reasons. According to the art. 54 of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code) to exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must send the Customer Service the following information via email before the expiry of the withdrawal period: a declaration that states the intention to withdraw from the contract, including as a minimum the following data: name and surname of the person making the declaration, name, surname and email of the person who purchased the eGift Card , number and date of the purchase, reasons for withdrawal and chosen method of refund (out of bank transfer or paypal).

Important: as these are products with digital content with Codes supplied through non-material supports, the consumer proceeding with the activation operation loses the Right of Withdrawal once execution has begun.

8. General dispositions

We apply the Sale Conditions of use and sale of esaspaceshop.com . The eGift Card s are emitted by Magento 2.0, the software of the ESA Space Shop platform. When you buy, receive or use a eGift Card , you accept that present general conditions of use of the eGift Card are regulated by Italian law. We reserve the right to modify the present conditions at our discretion. The present conditions are applied according to the limits expected by the law.
