Vega Tie Clip

Design Inspiration:

Named after the second brightest star in the Northern hemisphere, Vega was first launched in February 2012. It stands 30m tall and is designed to be able to carry a load of 1500kg into orbit at an altitude of 700km. It can place a single satellite as well as several smaller satellites into orbit. ESA’s Vega Research and Technology Accompaniment (Verta) programme was set up to provide a framework for the smooth transition of Vega from development to exploitation.
